Echo Global Logistics – Why Work For Us?

Take a look at the future of logistics... take a look at Echo.

Driven, energetic and motivated – the Echo team is made of like minded individuals with one common thread, an opportunity to jumpstart a career at a fast-growing company. We are a technology company in the transportation management and logistics industry with a growing client base and a dynamic atmosphere. If you’re ready for a fast-paced environment and are up for a challenge – Echo might be the place for you.

  • Launch your career with a solid support network and a management team committed to your success.
  • Get involved with interesting and motivated people – join our softball, volleyball, basketball, football, or hockey teams. Or start a new intramural team!
  • Be a part of a team and create new business processes with collaborative colleagues.

Why Echo?

We are where we are today because of three things: our technology, our unwavering commitment
to service and our team of talented people.

  • Career

Training takes multiple forms; we will ensure you have deep knowledge of the transportation industry in which we operate. Through ongoing training and opportunity to grow into management, we’re committed to helping you develop core skills for a long-term career as you contribute to our goal of simplifying transportation management.

  • Culture

At Echo, we value teamwork. Whether you play for one of our sports leagues or participate
in one of our social events, the Echo team is supportive and friendly.

  • Community

We foster an environment of learning and support. We like to win as a team; Echo employees celebrate each other’s successes. Outside the office, employees are encouraged to give back; we provide extra paid time off in exchange for community service.

Why Logistics?

You’ve heard the word “logistics” before, but what exactly does it mean? A third-party logistics provider (3PL) specializes in managing transportation, helping the movement of goods. Look around you. Every product you see, from the hoodie in your closet to the pizza in your freezer,
has spent some amount of time on a truck, ship, train, or plane. As the industry continues to grow, so does the opportunity to advance and develop a career. It’s rewarding, fast-paced, and necessary. Transportation logistics is a vital industry that will be around as long as there are goods to transport and people that need them.

Why You?

Are you looking for a career that matters? Are you looking to make a difference and be part of something big? Are you looking for awesome training with inspiring people? Look into logistics. We’re looking for competitive, self-motivated and goal-oriented team players. If that’s how you see yourself, we’ll see you on Monday.

The Echo Story.

What's in it for you?

Below are some of the promises we make to our employees. We want to keep you happy, healthy, and engaged. Whether it's runny noses, running at the gym or running into your boss at happy hour -we want to make sure you are satisfied on every level!

The Echo Way is more than just words.

Our core values, called The Echo Way, are our compass, our navigation system, our north star for how we serve our clients, partners and each other.

Better is the only option

undefined

We know that success isn’t permanent and that complacency is the fastest way to become irrelevant.  Because of that, we are always looking for a better way, a better solution, a better approach. Always asking the question “what is the best thing to do?” and being drawn to try solutions that haven’t’ been tried before. We look for reasons new ideas will work, rather than reasons they won’t.  Sometimes we may fail, but that only inspires us to find new solutions.

BYO

Bring Your Own: Passion. Energy. Enthusiasm. Drive. We insist on making the most of each day, because we have the ultimate renewable energy source – passion. Combine the tools and environment with what each individual brings to the table and you go from aspiration to achievement

Do what’s right

undefined

Integrity means expecting more from ourselves, even when no one is looking. It’s not just a corporate responsibility…it’s a personal one. We value being honest and transparent even when that means delivering bad news.

Carry the load together

undefined

No one of us is as good as all of us. And because of that, we know that teamwork is the fuel that allows us to achieve results that could never have been achieved alone. So, we depend on each other, get each other’s back, and celebrate each other’s wins.

Work hard and hustle

undefined

The journey from average to awesome begins with work ethic. It’s what keeps us pushing through when others simply give up. While our tenacity defines us... hustle is how we stop talking about ideas and actually make something happen. We do whatever we have to do, for however long, until we reach our goals because we know… that’s the only way to be extraordinary.

We are committed to helping our employees achieve their career goals.

Every employee is provided with the knowledge and resources to grow and we invest time and effort to improve the quality of not just the work day, but the career development of all Echo employees.

I have been working at Echo Global Logistics full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The company culture here is one of a kind. I can truely say that I enjoy coming to work every day. The open desk atmosphere makes it easy to get to know your neighbors. My team is always collaborating together and boucning ideas off of eachother, which I love.

Echo is always coming up with new ways to improve and you can really see the excitement throughout the departments.

    Cons

Making the dials can get tough at times but my supervisor is always available for support and assistance. It is very clear that hard work pays off and you do see results. Plus, who doesn't love extra money on those paychecks!

    Application Details

I applied online – interviewed at Echo Global Logistics.

    Interview Details

Ask you all the basic strength and weakness questions, where do you see yourself in 10 years, why are you a good fit etc. You go through a recruiter who reads her questions off a paper and then you talk to the branch manager (who is awesome) and then you talk to some of the supervisors and they interview you together. After that I waited two weeks to receive a call from the recruiter asking me if I was still interested.
