We're committed to clinical excellence, and we're ranked among top providers for overall satisfaction and quality medical care according to national independent research.
What remains most remarkable about Genesis HealthCare is our ability to genuinely improve lives — and our people’s role in that improvement.
Director of Clinical Recruitment explains how Genesis utilizes a unique perspective to approach recruitment; from what we strive for in the candidate experience, to what we look for in our prospective employees. Our industry is exciting and we’re proud of our employees who are willing to try and do different things, in line with honoring the Genesis Core Values.
We know that investing in our employees makes us a stronger company. Whether it is enhancing clinical skills, development of leadership capabilities, or providing strong foundations for career development, Genesis HealthCare actively supports our employees’ goals.
Genesis realizes that it is our leaders, at all levels of the organization, who make the difference between ordinary and extraordinary performance. That’s why Genesis recently expanded its Leadership Development Program for employees who want to become Directors of Nursing, or Nursing Home Administrators. The program is an innovative, self-paced, experience-based educational opportunity that meets the needs of our employees even as they work in our Centers every day. Each carefully selected candidate is partnered with a Genesis certified instructor and a mentor to insure that the learning experience is as focused and as broad as it needs to be. To insure our employees’ success on the job, mentorship support for program graduates continues for the first two years they are in a new leadership position.

I applied online. The process took 5 days - interviewed at Genesis HealthCare in April 2014.Interview Details
uploaded my resume and applied for a position on the company website, contacted by a recruiter, interviewed at a few different facilities associated with genesis healthcare
(that i applied for). the recruiter contacted me asking which facility i was more interested working in, and received an offer within two days following the interview. everyone involved in the hiring process was very friendly and professional. the interview was very easy, they pretty much gave me an orientation, background information of the company/ setting, and employee expectations during an hour interview. i didn't get any challenging or unexpected question; the most difficult part of the interview was asking the directors "smart questions" or "impressive questions".Reasons for Declining
