I have been working at Genesis Today full-time for more than a yearPros
So glad that the worm has turned at this company. Finally got some people back in here that basically help build this company. Hard work, honesty, ethics, are about what this person is all about. The "Kumbaya" party is over and people are actually going to have to work now. A company that has turmoil inside and "teams" inside will self destruct and that is what most of these negative reviews are about on this website. People that are "team pickers" not "team builders". They have their own little private clubs and are only interested in slinking up the Corporate ladder like a snake on their belly. This company is about work. When you have a job, it is called "work" not play. This company is a pioneer in this industry and the owner has gone above and beyond with the new building and all of the amenities to go with it for the employees. What we have here is a group of people that are whiners and babies who are afraid to dig in and get their hands dirty. Mgmt has brought back the one person that contributed the most and if people are afraid of this person, they have something to hide. The lies are coming out now and all being documented. Put your big boy pants on or go home! The other "grassy knoll" theories about hidden microphones and listening devices are also bogus. I am good friends with one of the IT people at this company and he assured me that this was not true. Most of these rumors started by disgruntled employees who spend most of their time gossiping and not putting their heart into their work.Cons
Overpaid milk toast employees. Other employees who's heads have swollen up the size of a basketball and are habitual liars that are now being exposed. The ability to keep products in stock. The most disheartening thing is the dishonesty among the employees. Doing anything to sleuth their way up the ladder, sometimes destroying very sweet and honest people in the process. Not happy about the long drive to work now since the company has moved.Advice to ManagementAdvice
Management is beyond advice.. just wants to not be in the building and let little pawns with no ability "try" to run the company. Stop hiring people from twc. They are listed as the "worst customers service in America" why would anyone want any outcast from this company who talk to other employees like they are children?RecommendsPositive OutlookDisapproves of CEO
Getting an Interview
Getting an Interview
- Application Details
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Genesis Today in May 2014.Interview Details
Executive position so went through a headhunter. Interview process was cut short at lunch and I was told that I could leave but the air travel was at 6Pm so I and to wait another 5 hours to get a flight home. There were dogs running through the building where manufacturing was taking place and they were doing their business in the corridors (stunning affront to product safety and GMP).Interview Questions

- Wanted to be nimble in product inception and creation. Gave an example of how they were first to market on a product, but as it turned out I created a similar product some 3 years before them. Nimble means that they react quickly to the Dr. OZ effect. It does not mean strategic or forward thinking. They did not like comments on ethics. View Answer
