I have been working at Holland America

    - chance to see bits of the world
    - get to know people from all over the world
    - languages
    - money that you dont spend - thus save

No time - working almost all the time and in your free time you have the choice:
    - sleep a bit, as you working most of the time
    - eat something different than the disgusting food they serve you on the ship
    - go on an excursion with the chance you have to pay for it (as employee!) and come back tired, to work again.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Find a better solution to the long hours - 10/11 hours a day is not human 7 days a week. Offer 1 day a week off.

Offer more chances to your phillipino crew, they are awesome - hardworking and willing to learn. Doing contracts year in year out - give them a break!! New (european, US) employees with so much less experience filling jobs that they have been doing for 10 years? doesnt make sense in any world, does it.. for less salary. Stupid.
