I applied through an employee referral – interviewed at ICICI Bank.

quite easy and less technical and most behavioural questions. ask like how you cope up to specific situation and others....From an agency perspective I'm looking at it for the purposes of timing. If you wrapped up a final round interview with another company and I kicked off my search 24 hours ago then timing probably isn't going to work out. I don't want to waste your (the candidate's) time or potentially the client's time if that's the case. However, if you're perhaps in 1st round interviews on a couple of other opportunities then it's good to make a hiring manager aware of that so they know there is a potential timing issue. Maybe the recruiter you talked to wanted to ask you that question so they know how much leverage either party would have; in my case it's almost always so both parties are aware of any timing constraints. As a side note, I also ask about timing in terms of when the client is looking to make a hire (usually it's ASAP). There are times when candidates have equity vesting dates that would prove problematic for a client's hiring timeline
