I have been working at MB Financial full-time (more than 10 years)

    It was a paycheck
    close to home
    nice community
    near shopping
    near resturants

I did not like the fact that the tellers had to sell, and I felt that little by little, we were less of tellers and more telemarketers, and I HATED the fact that our Regional Manager, (who is no longer with the company) referred to us as order takers when we did not make our sales. I eventually had to leave the company for personal reasons

Also, I did not like that managers in our office played favorites to the "younger" employees woo often came to work hung over, Ion Saturdays, I watched when one girl, came in late, and hung over, running back and forth to the bathroom to throw up, and she was late everyday and nothing was done to her, and also some of the employees would come in on Saturday inappropriately dressed,

When we had certain managers, they thought it was funny to play mean pranks on a few employes, one went so far as to lead one of the ladies, that our branch ws closing, she would have to be transferred to a branch some 30 miles away from her home, and also she would have to take banker classes as there were not going to be anymore tellers, and if she did not pass the class she would be terminated. just mean pranks.

Had an interview on Campus, was invited to the final round which held at the Rosement location. Took about two weeks to hear back. It is a half-day interview. There is a morning and afternoon group. I was in the morning group. You have two interviews one with someone who has just finished the program and someone who is in charge of the program. Then you provide a writing sample, then there is a nice lunch with the morning and afternoon group coming together. The most surprising part was during the interviews they really kept pushing towards sales after the program which immediately turned me off.

Commercial-related credits, including mortgages, operating loans, lease financing, and construction loans, make up nearly 75% of the bank's loan portfolio.
