Merkle's planned spend of $1 billion on acquisitions over the next 5 years is detailed in this AdAge interview with David Williams.
Merkle is a place where exceptionally talented people can harness their skills, build enduring relationships - friendships, actually - and do remarkable things they otherwise wouldn't.
We seek world-class talent wherever it's found and when possible, ask them to work in a Merkle office location. Because we draw vast amounts of energy - and enjoyment - from personal interactions.
Every member of our community has access to what they need to realize their own and the company's - full potential.
Our people are tightly aligned, which means we all understand the company's strategy. Our ongoing all-company meetings keep everyone up-to-date on our progress toward realizing our ambitious goals. We share and celebrate victories large and small, recognizing our hard-fought wins.
An in the process, all of us realize that we're each serving something bigger than just ourselves.

I have been working at Merkle full-time (Less than a year)RecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEORecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEO
Cool work, great people and a mindset to grow organically and through acquisition
Need to like a company that is less structured than others - though they have been around a long time, less processes set than would be expected

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4+ weeks – interviewed at Merkle.
After three phone interviews I was brought in to meet the staff, present a project then had to wait a bit to get confirmation of the interview results. The interviews were casual, but professional but there certainly is a phased approach to how Merkle hires. One of the most important parts of being hired here is to ensure fit.
- One of the most interesting things about this interview process is the requirement to present a project to a group of peer and senior personnel. This presentation is a key portion of your final interview and is then evaluated by all members who attended. 1 Answer
