I have been working at Monsanto Company full-time (more than 10 years)Pros
Lots of opportunities and training, very much focus in safety. Good DPR (Development Performance Rewards) system. Great benefits and excellent salaries.Cons
Lost of politics, you have to be good with your boss no matters what, if you are not nice with them you are dead. Whatever your boss said is not form him, it comes from upper management, you can not said anything before consulting, too much micromanagement, everything has to be approved by your boss, bosses are looking for their own success and do not care about their direct reports, they take your work done to be recognized and promotedAdvice to ManagementAdvice

- Application Details
I applied online. The process took 3+ months – interviewed at Monsanto Company.Interview Details
They had an initial screening round, with HR/co-ordinator. 2 rounds followed soon after - reporting manager and his peer. Was followed by 5 on-site interviews, at which point it got tiresome and repetitive. Offer was made 3 weeks following the last interview.
The company is an agri-business Co. Since i came from a different background, almost no questions were asked to check my knowledge. A few were asked to check my interest in the area. A lot of behavioural questions were asked. Would say 70% of all Qs started with either "give me an example where..." "have you been in a situation where..." "What would you do if...". limited difficulty level, but can get tiresome after a point, and I started to slack off a bit towards the end.
The process itself was smooth, and people were more or less approachable.Interview Questions
