    I worked at RE/MAX full-time (more than 5 years)


    I enjoyed my experiences at RE/MAX. In our office, they worked very hard to ensure that you were up to date with all of the company services. We had a knowledgeable franchise manager and owner who helped me get through some difficult situations and maximize my business opportunities and contacts. You really were your own boss and the commission splits were very favorable once you hit your annual targets.


    You are at work all of the time. Once you hit a certain level, your only incentive is to start a competing branch or leave and go on your own. Better administrative support would have been helpful at times, especially if you wanted to take some time off. The lead system never seemed to work out for me.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    As much help as possible when getting started would be appreciated. I do question the value provided at times for the national-type services as many did not apply to local transactions and yet we were required to pay a variety of dues and fees.
