I have been working at US National Guard

    Pros

Many career opportunities available. Fairly easy to switch jobs and locations. Good pay and reward system. Focused on competency.

    Cons

You must manage your career. Deployments can be long although the Army has gone to 9 month rotations.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to ensure competent management. Soldiers are likely to leave over "stress puppet" supervisors.
