    I worked at Verio full-time for more than 3 years


    Good starting point for industry entry level position. Provided sales team with comprehensive training and regular product updates. Professional services and sales engineering provide great sales support and commission up sell opportunities.


    Sales is inundated with customer support issues. Support rarely resolves customer problems and frustrated customers turn to sales in order to get a "live body". No advancement path from sales position except for changing companies. Management is not engaged with the needs of and challenges faced by sales. No forum for exchanging ideas (even of a positive/proactive nature).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Sales is the conduit to your customers ... get inclusive ... get them involved with management before products and services are in final development.
