Great launching board; come here to be treated like a number

    Analyst (Former Employee) Melbourne

Pros-Excellent learning; you can expect to learn more in 2 years at Accenture than 5-years in industry
-Chances to get exposed to senior managers and C-level early in your career

Cons-Your experience is based a lot on luck; end up on a bad project and you suffer
-High employee turnover, but the company does not seem to do much about it
-The company hardsells work/life balance to prospective employees for a reason; there is almost none
-(Personal experience) employees' lives revolved around their project, and I rarely met people who cared about the company itself
-Culture is determined by the project not the company; this leads to a very tribal atmosphere across the company
    -Poor compensation compared to market

Advice to Senior Management-For a company advising others on simplifying their business, please simplify the overall company structure; industries, DTEs and OGs make it confusing
-Though consulting dynamics mean that we should act as part of our client, this goes too far; please remind people that we are Accenture employees and not our clients'

    You make your own way

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsThe analyst group you start with will be your good friends. Lots of company perks here and there. Though I would sacrifice for higher base salary. Long term prospects are very high if you can stick it out.

ConsQuite a low starting salary compared to IT grads in other technology firms.
Not all managers are the same. You may not get the travel opportunities they sell you during interview process.

Advice to Senior ManagementGive something more to the bottom end. Make sure all the lower end is covered, not just some. Try to avoid favoritism among teams
