London, England (UK)

Former Employee – worked at Arriva full-time for more than 3 years

ProsGreat company, professionally run, world class driving training. Strong emphasis on meeting targets for routes.

ConsAs a driver you are expected to take reponsibility for a lot more than just driving. Sometimes the drive to meet route targets can push safety considerations and provide a stressful time for drivers who seem to be always the ones who are wrong when in fact on many occassions they are right.

Advice to Senior ManagementTreatment of drivers should be more equitable. Controllers of routes desperately need people management skills and an understanding of how important the customer is.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
