    Pros

    I love the people I work with and the culture. I started of and retail and quickly moved my way up. Its a great place to work if you like the corporate feel.

    Cons

    The hills are intense if you are walking in heels. The offsite parking can became a headache, but its nice to work for a company that provides rides.

    Pros

    There are some good employees, and the grounds are stunning.

    Cons

    Asking managers to come to Glassdoor to give a positive review is pretty classless. Corporate cuts everything to the bone. So many redundant programs and systems to learn makes you feel like a robot.

    Advice to Management

    Stop the micro managing, hold managers accountable, and fire them if they don't follow though. Hire salaried managers not just 50 hourly supervisors. If you staff the place like a airport hotel, you get that quality.

    Pros

    Great opportunities for promotions. Fun work environment and good benefits.

    Cons

    Management seemed to be always changing due to several shifts in ownership.

    Advice to Management

    Don't preach about lowering turnover when management seems to change every month.

    Pros

    Beautiful grounds... Must submit 5 words for this survey

    Cons

    Upper managment squeezed my managers and in turn all employees where not supported and became overworked underpaid. No support from managers. Incompetent staff not trained or capable. Draconian.

    Advice to Management

    Reprimand employees when they are not doing their job. Create an environment that values hard work not the lowest common denominator.

    Management was always very understanding and sincerely cared about there employees. There was a real "team spirit".

    Time off policies were a bit difficult, given the nature of the company

    Pros

    Casual, friendly environment with co-workers and even managers (usually). Wealthy guests led to generally good tips. Enough staff to get requested days off most of the time, except holiday weekends.

    Cons

    Sometimes a little too casual, especially for such a top-end resort. Also sometimes guests were pompous aholes, but not much you can do about that. Often work shifts up to 9 or 10 hours, but it's good money if you can handle it.

    The pay was very good for those without a college degree. I learned valuable skills related to customer service and team work.

    Cons

    Management is a bunch of greedy, power-hungry grease-bags who value nothing more than an extra dollar in their pocket.

    Care more about employees needs when it comes to hours and taking time off.

    Pros

    good money, especially if you are in a department where you can earn tips. gorgeous place to work.

    Cons

    difficult to get time off, but that's common in the hospitality industry. good training. management was often under-qualified, but this was past management.

    Pros

    Some of the best perks were the lunches we'd get provided to us - always good food after a big event! They even had a great holiday ball for employees and family.

    Cons

    It was hard to move up in the company. Our department especially had a high turnover rate. I believe they are under different management now so I'm sure things have changed.
