Pros – Great culture and the culture is great
Cons – It does not exist any more.

Current Employee – been working at BellSouth full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – They always had room for advancement. Started out in inside sales and within 3 years was working on global accounts
Cons – If you chose to move up the ladder you also had to move. Not everyone wanted to be in Atlanta or Nashville.
Advice to Senior Management – Upper management was always fair and to the point

Pros – Excellent compensation and benefits. Has a retirement plan and 401k plan.
Cons – Too many levels of beauracracy.
Advice to Senior Management – Decentralize.

Pros – had pretty good benefits and customers liked the company.
Cons – account assignments were not equal

Pros – Competitive Compensation; Climate of teamwork; The company provides lots of technical training and there are opportunities to advance your career.
Cons – Culture was still 20th century in many ways, however, progress is being made. Now that the company is owned by AT&T, the work place is not as people friendly and has more of a "big government" feel.
Advice to Senior Management – Better communication between upper management and employees needs improvement. Also, working to create more team building and off site employee events would improve morale.

Cons – Low pay and raises. Mgmt gets all the money.
