    Pros

Most employees are very friendly and helpful. Coworkers always seemed to be willing to help out if it was needed.

    Cons

The company's top management is overseas. Fiat controls it, therefore everything is done backwards. The inventory tracking, part tracking, and the organization of employees, management, and work duties is very outdated, inefficient, and a frustrating to say the least.

    Pros

    Working in the agriculture industry.

    Cons

Pay. You will never get a raise working at CNH.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You are not a meritocracy. There is no reward for effort and delivering the numbers if you salary is capped at the mid point.

    Pros

Stable job. Great co-workers. Good work experience no matter what position you hold.

    Cons

Need to be a part of the good old boy club to move up. Management heading in two many directions at once instead of focusing on one thing that can make difference and becoming proficient at it.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

More training! Good training, not just "stuff" to put together and share.

    Pros

The company is fill with many determined and hard working individuals. The company treats employees very well allowing you to come in late or leave early if conflicts come up. The benefits that CNH Industrial provides has to be one of the best I've seen.

    Cons

The politics at the company can make it hard to do your job at times. Some departments aren't viewed as highly as others. These departments are a lean and mean group of individuals. Some of the departments, especially the Marketing Communications departments don't have much room for advancement.

    Pros

    - Great top management
    - Lots of room to move between departments etc - to grow and learn
    - International feel to the company
    - Still a small company feel with lots of visibility
    - Opportunities and responsibilities are given to you and you can work independently on them: very few micro managers
    - Now, a lots of new technologies are being used and introduced in the company
    - Great career start / boost if you are a new graduate

    Cons

    - Some of the middle/lower management and team members have old thinking and work with gut feeling - than using tools/technology
    - Salary never increase in the same role, unless you want to change roles

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do not copy European business model in US.

Former Employee - Marketing Product Manager in Le Plessis-Belleville (France)

    Pros

Lot of work to do everywhere because the company is not very well organized! You easily something out of your scope and therefore learn about the whole company's activity. People are great and friendly.

    Cons

No career opportunities what so ever (at least in France). Senior management does not have a clear strategic view of the future, it's more about dealing with the emergencies and getting quick cash. No long term vision and no company values.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try to manage on a longer term vision.

    Pros

Good hands on projects for certain interns, but not all depending on the department you are in. The town was very nice and welcoming.

    Cons

Some interns sat at their desk all day, not really experience what the facility is like. Not all management was nice.

    Pros

Solid Benefits. If they ever downgrade or eliminate these, people will leave in droves. Once you're in, you're in.

    Cons

No COLA or any other kind of raises. Must move up and around to increase salary. Much more opportunity for men than women. Terrible onboarding, training, orientation. Little to no support on where to find, who to see, how to do.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Look up the REAL meaning of "meritocracy."

Current Employee - Technical Support Engineer in Burr Ridge, IL (US)

    Pros

CNH definitely tries to take care of their employees. They provide great benefits and a lot of opportunities. The company is very large with a lot of room to move around and find the right role for you.

    Cons

Changes are happening constantly, which can be difficult when working on projects that suddenly get dropped or working with people who suddenly switch roles and break communication. Being such a large company, it's easy to get lost in the fold if you're not working to find the next step or network with people.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Invest more in discussions with your employees on where they are, how they are doing, where they would like to get, and how to get there.
