Advice to Senior Management – Take more risks

Pros – Great working environment, people and culture. Extremely loyal workforce (mid level managers) that have been with the business a minimum of 5 years. Work gets done and and categories that we compete in are growing very well. Good for people who want work-life balance
Cons – The senior directors (people in the business for more than 10 years) in the business are unwilling to change and many have been in their positions due to "seniority". They are not changing with the times fast enough to address the constant changing business environment.
Advice to Senior Management – We need to look outside of Soups and diversify the business that includes other high growth categories. Stick to a winning strategy and by follow through on the commitments

Pros – Excellent Company to work for. Many benefits. Employees are like family.
Cons – The Morale was starting declining. Did not feel like a valued employee at the end
Advice to Senior Management – Need to care more about the lower level of employees. Treated more equal...

Pros – Good pay and benefits. Iconic brands.
Cons – Extremely political, very focused on who you know...no expertise required
Advice to Senior Management – Try to be more inclusive of different ideas, styles. Attempt to elevate the talent by hiring people who actually know what they are doing. Don't make success a moving target...learn to set, communicate and maintain appropriate expectations. Seek to understand the cultural biases that inhibit the success of people who do not fit the Campbell mode and treat EVERYONE respectfully and fair.

Pros – Benefits and balance, work hours
Cons – Constant re-orgs, they don't give time for you to even see what transpired of the last one.
Constant politics, nepotism runs deep. Top management has no clue who actually does the work. They promote based on who they like not who does the hard work.
Advice to Senior Management – Be transparent with the employees instead of trying to hide what is coming

Pros – + Strong staffing with bright, generally motivated people
+ Strong brands, though dusty and aging in many cases
Cons – + Challenged on driving topline growth; and expecting unrealistic goals (especially give support levels) in that department
+ Often run like a collection of fiefdoms by folks with a particular love of the next "shiny" thing...whether that be a category, consumer group, strategy, etc. Not a lot of patience to see things through.
Advice to Senior Management – While there is a benefit in aspiring to very lofty objectives, achieving them requires sustained focus investment and strategy. And current focus on very lofty objectives encourages people to inflate their forecasts to hit what is expected of them, regardless of the feasibility of actually meeting such numbers.

Pros – good exposure to food industry
Cons – very ugly politics
fake american company, china-man mindset!
tiring and demanding, it's normal to work OT while your bosses go back SHARP at 6pm
super super lousy benefit package, no dental coverage
very stressful and it's normal to work on public holidays and weekends!
super bad HR department with dirty politics
super dirty production floor i swear i won't buy their products!
Advice to Senior Management – continue your dirty politics and you will be successful in becoming Saddam Hussein
