I have been working at Capgemini full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Training:- Great Learning material on their website. Web sessions, Books, Classroom etc. This is a major plus point.
Work Life Balance:- Will depend on the account/practice you work for. If you are in a client facing role with an offshore team, you will really have to spend the extra hours to deliver. If you are in a client facing role in a staff aug position, the work load may not be as much.

    Cons

Personal Growth:- There are many opportunities across NA region. But again, grabbing these opportunities is highly dependent on your current manager and account. You may not be moved to a better opportunity if they don't find your replacement especially when you are on a billable slot. Every manger/account will first consider their own account's priority and will only move you out if there is a better replacement or if you are not doing well enough to stay there. If you are a really smart person in such a slot - then you are doomed to spend your entire career in that same account. The only option to take your career forward is to move out of the organization.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do not let any associate spend over two years in the same account.

I worked at Capgemini full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Challenging work, pretty good pay, lots of opportunity for bonuses, and great networking potential. Vacation policy very generous for new employees (15 business days, in USA). They pay you while on the bench (aka, while doing nothing).

    Cons

Work-life balance is very poor. Don't get me wrong, HR will talk about fostering great work-life balance but when push comes to shove, your client and/or Project Manager couldn't care less about your work-life balance. Travel is an inevitability. Do not believe anyone at Capgemini who promises that you won't have to travel. Eventually you will.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take more time to get to know your experience hires. Make the company less of a political circus and more results oriented.

I have been working at Capgemini (more than an year)

    Pros

Nice working environment but that was at the client site.

    Cons

Management seems disorganized, and they want you to keep doing a lot of reporting and administrative tasks that impede your core responsibilities.

I have been working at Capgemini full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

If you are a techy then you can rule the project such as easy onsite, promotions.....

    Cons

    1. Ruining the freshers future - Worst training
    2. Hiring team - They will hire people who don't even know how to write hello world program nor basic select statement
    3. Senior and middle management will take ages to learn about new technologies
    4. Manangers don't how to pinch in with the client to get a new projects and openings

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please provide adiquate training for all managers. They might have good coding skills in Maingframe but that will not work with today technologies
