    I worked at Convergys full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    During my time at Convergys, I had challenging work to do. I had great support from my management and built high performing teams. There is a strong focus on clients and performance in support of their businesses. I found good performance to be well rewarded. I had opportunities to grow my career over time. Company benefits were reasonable and supported work/life balance. Would rejoin the team if the right opportunity arose.

    Cons

    BPO environments aren't for everyone. Most programs are 24x7, 365 days a year, which means sometimes it's hard to find the work/life balance. BPO's usually have lower compensations rates than industry counterparts, so know that going into a position.

    Keep focused on the balance between client and employee needs.

    Biggest private employer in the country and rapidly growing, so this means that there is a lot of opportunity for career growth
    Solid core values
    Very diversified people groups
    Solid training programs

    Salary range is just average for internal promotions compared to those hired externally

    Pros

    They provide the best training before you go to production.

    Cons

    Stations are limited. You dont get paid even though you early for your shift and you havent secured any station yet before your shift starts.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    TLs are professional as well as Operation Managers except for one has persobal issues. Good luck if you fall under his cluster.

    Pay, incentives if your about to sell, the people which im not saying make friends but they also help the time to go by

    Some times the customers are hard to help due to attitudes

    The Dublin branch has a great work culture and a lot of different people and nationals all of who are great to work with.

    Cons

    It is a BPO and they don't really care about staff retention.

    Easy to become a team manager

    Pay is poor and barely increases with promotion. Bonuses and commission are virtually impossible to earn

    Pros

    full time work, paid the bills, barely, free Satellite tv service if you work for that project

    Cons

    kept swapping supervisors, they switched me from tech support, to billing support(which was a headache) then back to tech support, did not give promised raise
