I worked at Delphi as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

Very friendly workplace and helpful in getting started. In addition, there is opportunity for moving up, as I saw a few shifts in management during my time with the company.

    Cons

Delphi has been on somewhat of a downward spiral in the Rochester area, and as such attitudes sometimes lean to the negative side, with poor future outlook for the branch.

    I worked at Delphi

    Pros

Money, good colleagues, parking places, atmosphere in the office, computers. The training overall is good, efficient and often, good trainers and good environment.

    Cons

Long Hours, middle managers are weak, without experience, yelling at people or firing people without good reasons. Friends are bringing friends, weak ones and everything is annoying.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don´t change the middle managers so often

I worked at Delphi full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Open minded environment, great team spirit all over. Job rotation and international experiences encouraged. Competent people.

    Cons

Salaries could be better. Also recent restructuring initiatives in various parts of the globe inevitably impacted morale - although management is doing a good job to try and preserve motivation for the opportunities ahead, in some places this could be a challenge.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

While transitioning to a more competitive footprint and organization, do not forget about talent retention and vision communication.

I have been working at Delphi

    Pros

The salary and benefits are good despite the economic issues.

    Cons

Does not promote from within company. Found opportunities posted on Glass door and not on internal posting site. Clearly interested in seeking younger employees for less money.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be honest with employees and provide guarded information. Especially when things are published in other reputable newspapers.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
