    Great company to work for

    I worked at Deutsche Bank

    Pros

Huge resources. A lot of talented people. A ton of data to work with. Great benefits and perks. Would recommend working here.

    Cons

Lots of politics (as in any large organisation). The subject matter is fairly dry (finance!). Often you have to navigate a large organisation to get things done

Former Employee - Management Support Analyst in London, England (UK)

I worked at Deutsche Bank as an intern (more than an year)

    Pros

    - Friendly Office Culture
    - Open to providing training courses to interns
    - Experience with multiple teams and multiple roles
    - Positive work environment
    - Team work was encouraged, hard-work was valued

    Cons

    - Some employees seemed to have a 'who can be at work the most hours per day' competition
    - Very large organization and building meant there were many people you didn't know
    - Not enough fridge space or microwaves

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It would be good to have team separated rather than large open plan offices where many teams work in essentially the same room, to make the teams feel more united as a team rather than a one fish in a school of hundreds.

I worked at Deutsche Bank full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

It is a good chance to work at an investment department. I can be a global treasury sales associate for the vice president, which can enlarge my view.

    Cons

Too busy. I worked at China but need to track the Europe market. So the working time is not same as original division. Candidates need to work under great pressure.

I have been working at Deutsche Bank

    Pros

a lot of hands on financial modelling and interaction with fellow departments, they didn't have analysts but lots of senior bankers so it was good to absorb from their experience

    Cons

a lot of face time sometimes, lots of pitching but not actual deal experience, seniors expect you to know your stuff very well, messing up doesn't come off as coincidential

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

hire more analysts! improve pyramid, lots at the top, almost no one at the bottom?
