I worked at Dr Pepper Snapple Group full-time for more than a year
Pros – Truly there were not any redeeming traits of working at this company.
Cons – Expectations of management team and hours out of touch with reality. Average work week is 70 hours. Company talked a lot of wonderful idas but practiced none of them.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

I worked at Dr Pepper Snapple Group full-time for more than a year
Pros – Benefits are good they start from day 1
Cons – Work not distributed equally.
Do not pay time and a half, and have little respect for employees.
Long hours no family life.
Advice to Senior Management – Pay better and show a little bit more respect for the employees that actually keep the company afloat

I worked at Dr Pepper Snapple Group part-time for more than a year
Pros – The pay is good for the job. You get payed full time hours even though most times you only work 25-30 hours a week. The managers are understanding and good to work with as many of them will work just as hard as you do, they get to go home early when they finish early so they will like you if your a fast worker and reward you in suit.
Cons – The work is not easy. In order to finish your stores during peak season you will have to work fast, work hard, and even work extra hours. This is only around times like Independence day, superbowl, and other peak party times. Dealing with lazy co-workers can sour you, try to team up with someone who cares about their job as much as you do and you will be fine.
Advice to Senior Management – Always reward your hardest workers and dont try to be our buddies, this will only cause problems in the long run. Offer us free drinks after a long day, we know you can :)

I have been working at Dr Pepper Snapple Group full-time for more than a year
Pros – -Compensation is above average for the work
-Self-directed learning allows motivated employees to grow their knowledge in the job areas they want, but needs to be kept in check and standardized
-See a strong desire from management to improve, but does not have a cohesive plan for it.
Cons – -Very far behind the times, just implementing 5S. While I'm not a fan of "flavor of the month" type projects in general, the company seems stuck back in the early 90s and just starting to move forward with putting an emphasis on statistical process control and continuous improvement.
-Unions - standardized pay scales based entirely on time worked instead of pay for performance only gentrifies the employees and does not promote continuous improvement and excellence.
-Lack of standardized procedures or training both in-plant and across the company.
Advice to Senior Management – Training - STANDARDIZE IT! I understand that the company is relatively new, having only been around for 3 years, but the culture is too old and needs to move faster. Utilize the strengths of each of the small companies and bottlers acquired over the years to improve each plant.

I worked at Dr Pepper Snapple Group full-time for less than a year
Pros – -There's probably at least one good District Manager there (Manages a group of Account Managers)
-You constantly get to interact with people (Could be a Pro or Con)
-Weekends and Holidays off
Cons – -10-12 hour work days
-Pay is no that great (Relief Acct Mgr: 33k/yr, Acct Mgr: 33k-55k/yr
-Under constant pressure to sell products to stores that have little interest in those products, though that's pretty standard for most sales jobs.

I worked at Dr Pepper Snapple Group full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – Benefits are decent for this type of company. Employee sales and online perks program are also very competitive with what others offer.
Cons – People are worn out. Everyone works 6 to 7 days a week anywhere from 11 to 13 hours with very poor hourly wages. Turnover is awful even for supervisors and above. Life gets even more miserable when there are audits. Employees are treated bad but can't go anywhere else.
Advice to Senior Management – Listen to your people. Treat your employees like people !

I worked at Dr Pepper Snapple Group
Pros – Fun to work for a national brand company.
Cons – Cultural evolution that began with the divestiture from Cadbury went too far, resulting in an imbalance between the executive levels and the front lines, in terms of appreciation, recognition, rewards. Seems to have evolved into a boys club at HQ.
Advice to Senior Management – Recognize the value delivered by the front lines. Be a bit more humble and appreciative.

I worked at Dr Pepper Snapple Group
Pros – Global name recognition on resume, that's all.
Cons – Very unorganized in all aspects, especially key accts in non-Dr Pepper regions. Blind leading the blind. Key accts likes to think big, but usually falls flat on ad pricing and promotions. So many times, an ad is supposed to happen and then you find out at store level the pricing is wrong or the item never made it in the ad. Then, key accts blames the buyer. The only reliable key acct activity is Snapple or core five brands because that's usually national.
Advice to Senior Management – Advice is to Exec level; get rid of all your left-over SE Atlantic management at branch and region level if they aren't cutting it. They are the problem because they are old school. Do like CCE and PBG did in the early 2000s. Start flushing the dead weight good ole boy network for more progressive, corporate minded people with bigger goals and aspirations. These guys are killing you as they wait out their 10-15 years until retirement.

I have been working at Dr Pepper Snapple Group
Pros – The company is still young and has the opportunity to be successful if changes are made NOW!
Cons – Severally undercompensated. There is a major disconnect with senior management and the realities of front lines duties and needs
Advice to Senior Management – Address mileage and employee compensation and the lack of front line support to be successful.
