    Pros

The pay and the benefits are decent and the 401k is very good. Get to work with top notch people.

    Cons

The recent activist investor battle is killing the company. Cost cutting layoffs and instability are causing people to quit left and right. Young people are leaving and the older workers will be retiring in a few years. I'm not sure how the company will handle this loss of talent. Across the board benefits aren't as good as they used to be. Morale is really bad. Hopefully things will turn around and this can be a great company again...but my money is on it being mediocre at best.

    Advice to Management

Stop trying to placate shareholders by hosing employees. Show you are on the employees side. Stop making unrealistic earnings estimates.

    Pros

I loved my time and my summer spent on the east coast with DuPont. The people were awesome, and the company culture was something that made a big different for me. Great company, paid me well and took care of traveling expenses even as an intern. Would recommend to anyone

    Cons

Average age in my division was 52.. need to have a strong, heavy influx of young talent in the coming years. Quite a few workers struggled with basics when it came to programs such as Excel

    Advice to Management

Try and retain/seek more young talent

    Pros

Flexible hours, great 401k. Layed back working conditions but very busy. Some nice people.

    Cons

The company shows virtually no appreciation to it's employees. The miniscule appreciation is always in a form that does nothing for you financially. (Ice cream parties, awards with no money, etc.)

    Advice to Management

Stop taking money from your employees pockets, to keep your pockets overflowing. Stop promoting people that don't deserve it just to make them someone else's problem. Promote the people who actually bring in new revenue with the products they create.

    Negative Outlook

    Pros

The company is working with vision to achieve sustainable growth through core values - Safety, Environment, Ethics, People respect. Strong regional presence and local leadership in most of countries in Asia. People development is one of the strongest points. For the last ten years local regional leaders have been developed well.

    Cons

Major restructuring, activist investor, pressure and stress from continuous cost cutting, uncertainty on future business model.

    Advice to Management

It is very sensitive time and lots of thing are confidential information. However the top leaders of the company are losing confidence from employee in process of defending the company from the activist investor. More proactive communication is required from top to bottom.
