I have been working at Adobe

Pros

It is good company if you are in right team. If not, you are out of luck.
Good benefits compared to other companies in bayarea.

Cons

Pay is less compared to other companies. If you are in few teams, this is not a problem. You need to check out team before joining.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make sure to improve motivation of employees. Setting up vision for company will increase stock price. Bring back bonus to employees.

I have been working at Adobe

    Pros

There are very few. They have nice facilities and the pay is about average for this area. Many people have heard of the company. You can purchase their software at a discount for non-commercial use.

    Cons

The management at Adobe makes poor decisions and lacks any well defined direction. They have a vague idealistic thought of where they want to be, but without any really idea of how they could get there. The management also makes it hard to succeed at your job and set you up to fail. Their products are old and aging and they aren't able to come up with any new useful ones out side of trying to acquire other companies. Their products also have a reputation for being bloated, slow, and poorly written. The HR department is by far the least helpful out of any of the companies I've ever worked for and is generally very rude. There is also a lot of dishonesty and disrespect at the company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The management needs to be better and helping their employees be productive instead of fostering an environment where it is hard to be successful. They also need to get a well defined direction that works and stick with it. They also need to treat their employees with respect.
