I have been working at Arch Telecom

    Pros

The commission structure is actually quite lucrative. If you keep on top of all of your metrics, you have the ability to make a good chunk of money with this company, despite starting out at minimum wage. What I've also noticed is that a lot of companies that work on commission are moving to only paying commission. Arch Telecom pays hourly + commission, so you still have a lucrative opportunity to make money here.

    Cons

There are a lot, so I'll bullet list rather than rant:

    - Senior Management Personnel are difficult to get in touch with
    - Upper Management (from what I experienced) are young, and inexperienced
    - Problems with getting paid for new-hired personnel. Keep on top of your training hours vs. commissionable hours.
    - If you are a female working for this company, or contemplating working for this company, don't expect to get the same respect or opportunities available as a male if you are wanting to move up.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Know the dynamics of the stores you're moving reps around in. A sales team is important, and one that has grown together will flourish if you know the strongest assets to that sales team. Get to know your representatives well before putting them in positions they may not be ready for.
