Pros

Caring company, With great outlets of learning, You have the freedom to reach for longer goals. Friendly and helpful staff. Great customer service guide lines, A chance to meet wonderful people from great walks of life.

Cons

A lot of misunderstanding as far as learning aids, Which are out of date or never posted or misleading. Out dated web web pages and no clear direction from management through meetings to further reach for goals.Customer service causes more misunderstanding then helping in most situations.

I have been working at Avis Budget Group (more than 10 years)

    Pros

The fleet of cars are nice. When they do have cars in the building it is good to search for other alternatives in your class or if your willing to upgrade.

    Cons

Management have become way to cut throat. All they want are results and nothing more. The great environment we had before at work is gone. The commission rates have been changed so many times and have been reduced so much that at this point all that's left for them is for you to sell and not get the proper commission rate back from your hard work. It was fun, exciting atmosphere when I arrived but then when management changed it began going downhill from there.

    Pros

The benefit of a car is the only pro but when you are short cars which is good number of times youre out of luck

    Cons

Your scheduled 10 hours but you work 12-13 hours with no extra compensation, bonuses are dismal, and you work your pants off. If you're short staffed you will be doing the work of that employee whether its cleaning cars, driving them or renting them. The customers who have had long delayed flights are always a joy to deal with. Mid and upper management are constantly on you over hitting all sorts of metrics that are truly just hit or miss. Employee moral is typically low since most make minimum wage.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay your ops manager and rental staff more it will make a huge difference in turnover and quality
