I have been working at BP full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Stretches your personal and professional beliefs and limitations. Many opportunities for advancement and global relocation. Superior, and often, opportunity for in-house training and educational classes. Diverse organization

    Cons

Can become just another number. Within BP, what seems as "average" capabilities would equal a rock-star status in other companies. Very siloed with people protecting their turf. Don't practice what they preach.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    safety is suffocating

Current Employee - Human Resources Assistant in Houston, TX (US)

I have been working at BP full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Free gym, free parking, new work life balance initiatives, some travel. Young culture can be a plus at times. Moving towards diversity, stock for high performers

    Cons

safety risk management, poor management, no development in Trading. E&P could be okay as culture is different.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Practice what you preach regarding risk management and stay out of trouble. Too much uncertainty. Turnover is troubling
