I have been working at Bank of America part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Well defined Employee and Business processes and systems, have standard operating procedures. No ambiguity. Low pay is compensated with good benefits.Regular Training processes ensure knowledge management processes in place.

    Cons

Managers schedule random schedules for tellers taking no quantitative factor like customer inflow pattern or dates of the month into account eventually leaving with over exhaustion or under utilization of teller work hours.
Tough to keep spirits running high doing the same process over and over again , micromanagement exacerbates these.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Train managers on best practices like motivation, support and mentoring techniques so they act as proactive leaders and not just managers.
