Great company culture. Really embraces anyone's ideas for improvement. Asks front line employees for feedback often.

I have been working at Baxter

Pros

Great culture, a lot of mobility within the company

Cons

Decent salaries and benefits, but other companies do pay more.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Raise the salaries across the board to compete with other major players in the industry. The competitor's salaries are beginning to become a temptation in this market.

I have been working at Baxter full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Large company that allows/encourages movement.
Opportunity for travel (if you desire).

    Cons

Managers will tell you that family is important, but that's never the case. I was told that should the FDA show up for an audit (my wife was due to give birth to our first child), I would be expected to come in to manage the audit.

They withhold raises for as long as possible. Performance reviews are a joke.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Support your top performers. Support their families. Stop putting results before people.
