    I have been working at Cablevision Systems full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Cablevision held a company wide survey on how they felt about the environment, salary, management etc.. THey found that my department was severely underpaid, and we received raises based on the current employment market. I started off making 34,000 and now I'm making 43,000 only a few months later!

    Cons

    At this time, NONE at all.

    I worked at Cablevision Systems as a contractor for more than 3 years

    Pros

    you have the potential to make how much you want, unsupervised if you work properly, meet new people everyday.

    Cons

    sometimes your stuck on hold for hrs on 1 job, technicians experience the same hold time as customers sometimes worse. sometimes you run into customers who wants it fixed but theres nothing you can do.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    techs should be more self efficient, instead of having to call in to dispatch and being stuck on hold, techs should be giving the proper tools so we wont be at a job 3 hrs after the installation.
