I have been working at Cardinal Health full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

The people are great and willing to do what is needed from their perspective. Everyone is friendly and is easy going. Health care is a growing field.

Cons

There is an unwillingness to change and understand the value technology can bring to the organization by driving automation and efficiencies. Too detailed focus at all levels. An old boys network exists that makes it impossible to advanced without being well connected. While groom talent out of college is great, diversity of opinion is missing since a homogeneous view is instilled at the beginning of careers.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

View technology as a competitive advantage. Create a culture where phrases and approaches aren't just on paper. Challenge the status quo and seek out more outsiders to bring needed change to the enterprise. Lack of growth create instability and inconsistent performance.
