Great place to work. Don't plan on taking any summer vacations.

I have been working at Cartus full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Very satisfied with my time here at Cartus. I feel that I have been given the tools to succeed at my job. My manager is outstanding and I feel he is an advocate for me to upper management. The technology Cartus has is great. They continue to move forward with their internal and external development for customers and employees. Management is very accommodating to work/life balance.

    Cons

Caseloads can become overwhelming during the busy summer season. There is always a feeling of guilt whenever you take time off in the summer. Relocation accounting team is difficult to work with regarding expenses. Constant challenges seem to be acknowledged but not rectified. Coworkers like to gossip and life and don't tend to mind their own business.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It feels that people who win the annual awards are on clients who specifically cap their caseloads and thus have more opportunity to provide a higher level of service. Someone with a 200% caseload shouldn't be held to the same standard as someone with a 75% caseload. Find another way to measure performance outside of one question on a survey to the customer. Someone could receive an excellent rating for all but one question and it is considered a defect.
