I worked at Conair

Pros

You can be promoted quickly if you have strong performance. Young talent is respected by upper management and given a lot of responsibility/opportunity compared to some other employers. Good "on the job" training ground.

Cons

Not great work life balance. Leaving early on a holiday meant leaving 1 hour early. Did not see proper strategic planning by upper management. Seemed to have short term focus.

It's a decent job, but could use some improvement.

I have been working at Conair

    Pros

The warehouse management is extremely sensitive to personal situations. They can be very understanding and compassionate. Decent benefits.

    Cons

Downsides are very low wages, extremely hard on your hands, need more/better communication, and to set standards.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Set standards, and keep them, unless an improvement can be made. Communicate with EVERYONE, especially when a change is made. Rules ARE rules, and people should be treated equally. When rules are implemented, everyone should have to follow them, with NO argument, especially when it comes to safety. Let the troublemakers know that YOU ARE the boss, and they ARE the employee, and if they don't want to follow the rules, procedures, there are several hundreds of others who would give anything to have their job...especially right now! Not saying there can't be compromise, but there are a few who think they don't have to follow procedure & can get away with just about anything...I see it daily. Overall, management does do a wonderful job, and the open door policy is a true open door policy. That is refreshing!!!
