Pros

Great benefits available to employees.

Cons

Very tight with budget in regards to raise/bonus pool. Male dominated environment - difficult for women to rise up in the ranks. Technology needs to be updated.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Review yearly each department and why some areas are repeatedly being cut in the bonus pool when the revenue goal has been surpassed.

    Global company with good benefits.

    Cons

    Very political, do not promote within, old technology, most people I know that work there would rather be someone else, but I doubt anywhere else is different.

    I have been working at Deutsche Bank full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Great team atmosphere and focus on worklife balance.
    Serious focus on agile and doing projects right.
    Lots of OSS in use.
    Challenging projects with notable impacts.

    Cons

    Antiquated technology (i.e. Win XP, IE)
    Bureaucracy and resources are the hardest part of any IT project.
    Politics of higher ups often subverts otherwise logical implementations, dilating project rollouts.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Further reduce bonus pay tied to "getting it out" by the end of the year. Focus instead on defect rates and production lifecycles as these are more critical and will tie management's decisions to proper SDLC.
    Be more stable at the top. We've seen so many heads come and go it is dizzying.
