I worked at DynCorp International full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

Competitive pay. Truly dedicated employees. 401k is the best. Medical benefits ok but expensive and lacking choices. Great missions.

Cons

Cut-throat management. High turnover in security & IT. Phony social contract from management. Lots of unethical management.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Put ethics above your precious six-sigma. Take a good look at upper management. Shift focus from "squeezing ever drop of blood you can from a turnip" to "serious national security." Know this: When the employment market shifts from employer's market to employee's market, your company is in some serious trouble.

I worked at DynCorp International as a contractor for more than a year

    Pros

What I like about DynCorp Intl. is that they offer many training programs, decent salary, paid accommodation and travel tickets.

    Cons

Not easy to get promotion. Sometimes people end up working something totally different from what they were hired to do, but it takes a lot of time to get a change of job title and salary on the contract.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

"Always change processes and structures while they still function."
