Current Employee – been working at EMC full-time for more than 8 years
Pros – Lot of opportunities for career growth within different divisions. Diverse portfolio of products through acquistions. Market leader. Strong at execution and powerful sales force. If you want a career in sales this is the place to be.
Cons – Large company. Slow to innovate. Old school hierarchical structure not as appealing to younger work force. Places too much emphasis on experience rather than potential and capabilties. Makes it difficult for young, bright and talented people to grow fast.
