At EA, contractors are second-class citizens.

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)
Redwood City, CA (US)

I worked at Electronic Arts as a contractor for more than a year

Pros: Exceptionally talented workforce; relaxed environment; cutting edge projects; numerous on-site… Cons: Hiring practices make it difficult to transition from contract to full-time; "second class" status as a contractor, including contractor email address… Advice to Senior Management: Teams can't gel and develop if contractors are constantly being cycled in and out of the system. Focus on hiring… Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend More
