I have been working at Genentech full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

Great mission; solid benefits; challenging work; beautiful campus - only a few of the many reasons this is a great place to work.

Cons

High regulatory scrutiny means the pace of change is slow and innovation is difficult. This is no different than the rest of the Pharmaceutical industry.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Simplify decision-making and governance: the lack of clarity can stifle progress.
