Good for what it was

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

I worked at Global Employment Solutions

ProsVery helpful, agent was great at sending out your resumes to only companies you would want to work with. Very good follow up attention as well.

ConsThey will only contact you or place you in positions if you can benefit the company somehow, which makes sense, it is a business.

Executive Recruiter (Former Employee)
Chicago, IL (US)

I worked at Global Employment Solutions full-time for more than 3 years

Pros: Nice people to work with, if they stick around; Somewhat recognizable name in Chicago metro area. Work/life balance is good but for the wrong… Cons: They pay peanuts, expect to make very little the first few years. You need to get job orders or you won't make money. … Advice to Senior Management: Provide better training, allow use of internet sourcing tools, bring recruiting… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More

I have been working at Global Employment Solutions as a contractor for less than a year

Pros: One of their clients is the International Monetary Fund (IMF).… Cons: Poor employee (temporary associates) support; non-existing professional development for employees; zero counseling for temporaries to get… Advice to Senior Management: Be open about your bussiness and policies. Explain to the job seekers… More
