Trying to rebound after successive CEOs that laid off anyone that could give the company hope for the future.

Current Employee - Problem Manager in Peterlee, England (UK)

I have been working at Hewlett-Packard full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

The new CEO appears to be makign the right noises with respect to investing in the future through people and R&D, so that we have something to sell in the future and people to sell it with. Also appears to be willing to take on the shareholders in the battle for the long-term strategy rather than the day-to-day share price.

    Cons

Still flagging behind in the salary scale here in the UK.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep at it. Don't worry about the daily share price, the prize is in the long-term race.
