    Pros

Great community. Employer that truly supports work life balance and gives you the opportunity to make a lot of money.

    Cons

So many tools that new hires can get lost in translation. You can get different answers from three different tools.

    I worked at Hewlett-Packard full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Work was good, fellow employees were helpful, immediate manager was supportive.

    Cons

The culture of separating the regular, or full-time, HP employees from those on less secure third-party or agency contracts. They all do the same job.
I started on contract at $19 per hour, but this was reduced to $16 in a cost-cutting measure.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

1: Use more on-the-job training and sharing of skills.
2: Trust your employees more, including those who are not "full-time" HP employees.
3: STOP OUTSOURCING JOBS to "low-wage" countries. It is not worth it, either in money or in quality.

    Recommends
    Neutral Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
