Pros

Great salary and benefits. Too there are no more company cars.

Cons

The company is so big it's lost direction. The HP way is dying.

    Pros

    I like the flexible hours, and multiple areas for possible career advancement. Additionally, there's strength in numbers: I know that entire software divisions will not be cut from the company, and that positions will be gradually phased out (rather than losing funding -> drastic cuts).

    Cons

    The typical downsides of a large company: Your management knows what you need/want but is powerless to get it, there is a large amount of paperwork for innovation, and pay is moderate.

    Pros

    Compensation and quality of work environment is good. Management is good, benefits are adequate. The HP Brand has quite a bit of value when you talk to customers and prospects.

    Cons

    Need to execute on improving internal hurdles that get in the way. Replace old employee day to day systems with newer solutions.
