Disorganized managers and being forced to mislead customers about health benefits of the product wasn't for me.

I worked at Jamba Juice part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Fun energy, good people to work with, free smoothie on every shift

    Cons

Manager wouldn't post my schedule until the day of, and would use a paper schedule so I would have to commute to work every Tuesday regardless of whether or not I had work that day to check a paper schedule. Very disorganized.
The smoothies are not very healthy, and in many cases based on the way I saw people ordering them, are probably hurting their health more than helping. Thus I found it very hard morally to promote the company and upsell people when I knew what we were selling them.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Have smaller sizes and healthier ingredients so people can believe in what they are selling, and get ShiftPlanning or some other system so employees know when they're working before two hours into their shift.
