    I worked at Jawbone

    Pros

great experience, good people, awesome product, good financial backers, opportunity for huge growth, nice work environment, generous stock options, start up experience

    Cons

long hours, little recognition, chaotic environment, no feedback on performance, very reactionary management style, lots of politics for a small company

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Establish a good strategic plan and direction and share it with the employees. Most activity is uncoordinated and the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing.

I have been working at Jawbone

    Pros

Friendly people. Smart engineers. Great office. Good location (near the SF design center). Free fitness club membership and public transit reimbursement. It's a well funded startup, so one person can still make a difference, but you don't have to worry if company will have problems making payroll.

    Cons

It's a startup, so this is not a 9-to-5 job. No 401k matching contributions.
