Former Employee – worked at Jefferies & Company as an intern for less than a year

Pros – Small firm, so there's a lot of responsibility.
Flat structure...you'll be speaking and working with MDs from day 1.
Good intern projects...no busy work

Cons – Being small has its upsides...but also downsides: there's nowhere to hide so you have to learn things quickly. At larger firms, you have a longer grace period.
