I have been working at MasterCard

    Pros

The Salary, Bonus, Matching Money and Benefits are good and if you're in the right department the work can be interesting

    Cons

It is a fear based culture, driven by a ubiquitous old boys network. The culture does not promote accountability or in some cases even plain logic. It isn't a huge company and yet it is a bit like working for a government agency.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Your long time culture based on the Associtaion will kill your future if you can't figure a way to change it into being based on the natures of Business

    I worked at MasterCard

    Pros

Compensation is excellent, Respect in the industry is high, Growth opportunities exist, Opportunity to gain new skills exists, Team spirit is high.

    Cons

It can be difficult to balance career and personal commitments if signifigant advancement is important to you. Commitment to excellence is well rewarded.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep building bench strength and offering opportunities to grow to all levels of employees. Keep building the foundation and staying ahead of the curve to survive as the payment franchise paradigm changes.
