Nice place to work at

I worked at Microsoft as an intern for less than a year

ProsFlexible working hour, free sodas, nice gym membership, parking well available, once a month a party with wine. For interns there was also a subsidized car rental -- a good thing to take to see around, even though not a necessity for commuting as the company accommodation is just across the road.

Consworking in offices with very thin walls, if someone on the other side is having a lot of phone calls, it may get a bit disturbing. No free food as google has, having at least some fruit available through day would be nice...

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend

Pros: Lots of very smart people. It's just more exciting to work with those people than in most companies Impact: the products impact so many people (in… Cons: can be political as any large company often more focused on "monetizing" (i.e. get more money from a customer) than doing what's best for the customer lots… Advice to Senior Management: more freedom to small teams more stringent pressure on presidents and CVPs to genuinely collaborate Focus more on what's best and fairest for the customer not what's… Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company… More
