Former Employee - Research Intern in Bangalore (India)

I worked at Microsoft as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

Open ended about ideas, there is no strict hierarchy of employers - free to talk to anyone we want and seek their advice. Good work environment and not a lot of pressure

    Cons

Some projects may be a little unstructured in the beginning, but a little dedication will get the most out of them. Salary might be less for some (in India)

    I worked at Microsoft

    Pros

A lot of talents in the company. You can find experts in every area. Clear career development path and training system.

    Cons

Too many re-orgs. Political game during performance review season. It's basically a top-down decision making process. Sometimes just ignore the voice from our users.
