Pros – Flexible working hours
work from anywhere based on situation
managers are hassle-free
independently delivery your tasks
sense of ownership
infrastructure (facilities, local IT support etc) at par
Shuttle, food(lunch) service is FREE
Cons – compensation is based on which group (engineering, software, hardware, IT ) you belong to. Least budget for compensation is given to IT per my experience. Your manager is the BOSS - make or break for you
Advice to Senior Management – Improve offshore and onshore visibility for better management which benefits the ICs.
