I have been working at Northrop Grumman full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Stability, mature departments. Established sow's that are clear to follow. Success is meticously defined. Peaks of busy times, valleys of slower paced weeks.

    Cons

Political (where isn't?), tend to value consultant recomendations vs. employee recomendations...though that might be a good thing. Not too many cons from my point of view.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to solicit and welcome ideas and feedback.

    Pros

Large company can move you around if you need to. They have good benefits and flexible time off. Good orientation and onboarding program.

Government contract dependent and could lose federal funding. Management structure is a little confusing.
